Giving & Receiving:
 As a boy, I wrote every author and celebrity I could. The thrill of opening my mailbox to find a reply was something I will not soon forget. Framed on the wall of my writing room is a reply from Dr. Seuss on Cat in the Hat stationary. It is one of my most prized possessions. To this day, I still get excited when I receive letter in the mail, especially when those letters comes from you. Your drawings of favorite scenes from the book, your ideas for a sequel, your analysis of characters and themes, your summer photos--please, keep them coming! I promise to personally respond to every single one of the letters and emails I receive--and I will try my best to do so in a timely manner.
